A walk through the Coyoacán of coyotes, painters and historical gossip: from the first town council of New Spain to La Casa Azul, home of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera - including Frida's secret romance with Leon Trotsky - a traditional pulquería, Jardín Centenario, the Fuente de los Coyotes and the Parroquia de San Juan Bautista, ending with antojitos at the local market.

Route

  1. We start by learning about the origins of Coyoacán and its first town council of New Spain
  2. We walk to Casa Azul, the Frida Kahlo Museum, and the story of her secret romance with Trotsky
  3. We stop at a traditional pulque bar: the history of pulque and curados
  4. We visit Jardín Centenario, Fuente de los Coyotes and Parroquia de San Juan Bautista
  5. We walk toward the antojitos market
  6. We wrap up at the end of the tour
